Stephenson General Contractors was selected by Neuse Charter School Board of Directors to provide construction management services for development and construction of a high-school facility on the 26 acre campus located at 909 Booker Dairy Road in Smithfield. This building will comprise Phase II of a full service campus. Stephenson General Contractors was construction contractor for Phase I of the planned IV Phase program.
Our firm has more than 40 years of construction experience and has been the developer and contractor for many of the area’s signature projects including Smithfield Town Hall, Smithfield Police Department, Ava Gardner Museum and an addition to the Women’s Center at Johnston Health.
The new high school building will house approximately 750 students and is scheduled for completion by next year school opening in August, 2014. The modern 3-story structure is environmentally friendly utilizing glass and open space to maximize natural lighting.
